It's a fad that only happens in Montreal

The author forgot you can't compare Toronto to Montreal
And yes the prices are expected to drop

And I do think there is a change in the rental maketv

Why don't you be first. Put your rental's address here, your mortgage, your taxes, how many tenants you have, how much each pays, and all your other financial data. And a criminal record check. That's part of the licensing process in Waterloo. And your home address and phone number (also part of the licensing rules in Waterloo because they want to make sure you live within 50 km so you aren't an absentee LL).
