I agree, no landlords are breaking any laws. Tenants are. Tenants have a huge government bureaucracy to help them. Tenant Rights claims, free legal aid, etc.

It's laughably easy for tenants to do damages, be evicted and to act like criminals. No eviction records, no need to give forwarding addresses, no punishment for abusing welfare, no damage deposits.

As I see it, your gripes are all generic issues with "being a tenant."

The issues I'm raising, such as non-published eviction records, lack of a damage deposit, etc. are Ontario specific. This means the issues to fix the behavior of bad tenants can be fixed quite easily while you will have to become a homeowner to fix yours (which will inevitably lead to complaints about the banks, property taxes, people letting their dogs poop on your front lawn, and other such tragic violations of your human rights.)

You do that. Hopefully the owner and/or bank take Monopoly money and someone else's credit report.
I work in high tech for one of the largest unions in the province. You work at a little internet start up company. Somehow I think I am the better risk for mortgage companies than you. I'll never be fired and my company will never go kaput :D

I work where? Not sure how you would know what I do, unless you check up on me? You probably spend far too much time researching me. Anyways, it is not an Internet startup at all?? Don't know where you got that from. But if you keep researching you will also see that I have financial ties to the company ;) which has been around since 02. I don't only just get a salary, but thanks for coming out.

My skills and past employers (such as major telcoms, major banks) are also in my profiles ;) Finding employment is pretty easy for me.

With regards to mortgages LOL! OMG, I have the same number of mortgages that you have underwear (oh wait, actually I have more than 4 mortgages, so let me re-phrase that, I have double the number of mortgages that you have underwear). If I use the number of clean underwear you have, then I have 8 more mortgages than you have clean underwear

The other thing you are forgetting - what makes you think I need to work? My investments and investment properties do very well ;)

But the biggest thing you are failing to mention - no one believes anything you say! I am doubtful you work at all, and I would bet money that if you do or did, it would be a very minor position. None of my life, or what you do for a living (or lack thereof) negates the fact that you are lying out your a$$ about owning, going to own soon etc... You do not have what it takes to accomplish much, that is evident.
